you read that right. 19 (and a half) books. it was a really good month for reading books, to say the least. i'm going to try to keep this as short and sweet as possible, but nineteen books is a lot of books to wrap up, and i almost regret having read so much all while knowing i was finally going to start doing wrap-ups on my blog. anyway, let's get on with it!
... so what's that .5 for, mar? i dnf'd sorcerer to the crown by zen cho. i had a few problems with this book, especially since i read it after why i'm no longer talking to white people about race. zen cho is a malaysian-british writer, but the main characters to this book are black, and i believe this book is set in regency england. it didn't really settle well with me, so i have to read more about zen cho and about the background of this book before i pick it up again. that being said, i do intend on giving it another try after wikathon. but, i'm proceeding with caution... yeah, i definitely regret reading so many books during the same month i decided to start blogging again. if you read this far, thank you so much for your time and patience, and i hope you found a book or two that you want to add to your TBR this month! also, if you would like to hear more about any of these books, feel free to reach out to me on twitter or on instagram — i'd love to chat with you guys about some books!
